North American release date for Splinters was - May 13th 2014, and it’s the band 2nd album.

Vallen means "strong" and fyre means … “fire”.
But take a look at the heavy hitters in this band, and you know you can’t go wrong, and obviously going to have some doom influence to it. Listening to these 11 tracks, you can also hear some black metal influence. Needless to say, its biting, intense, and down right powerful. It’s all what you expect to hear and more, and for me, an excellent listen, and a first for me. I am always a little sceptical about someone giving me a band to review when I have no previous experience with them, although that can be a good thing, a fresh look, not having to expect what you might already know from the band.

I really don’t need to say much, if you love doom, death metal, this is an album you need to have, its pulverizing, fast, and not boring at all, you can listen to all tracks and appreciate that each is different in some way. Refreshing, because they give us tracks,  you actually can tell when a song starts or ends. They have taken the time, not rushed it, and have produced a fine example of talent. Thank you.
