Just 40 minutes outside of Vancouver BC Super group KISS will play in Abbotsford BC for the first time and leave a bit of Kisstory. They weren’t there to promote there latest album Sonic Boom but to do a mini tour by visiting smaller towns and giving fans who couldn’t make the larger shows in major cities a chance to see there idols.....
KISS The Lost Cities Tour.

You’ve seen the pictures and videos by now, four comic book like heros on stage with Kabuki like makeup surrounded by pyrotechnics, fire & smoke and the ear popping explosions. You have Gene Simmons the fire breathing demon dripping blood from his mouth and down his chin with the famous long demon tongue. Paul Stanley the Star Child who struts for the audience, wiggling and shaking during breaks and between solos being the best front man in rock n roll. Space Man Tommy Thayer's guitar firing at the ceiling in loud explosions of spark and fire. The Cat Eric Singer pounding on the skins not missing the KISS classic beats. This is what you get at a KISS concert and for the wild crowd at Abbotsford Sports Arena they were going to get the best out of the New York City four piece band.

I’ve seen KISS now at least 5 times and for most of the 2 hours that they played the band payed respect to their loaded past catalogue, playing what are in my opinion some of the greatest heavy rock tunes ever written - Cold Gin, Detroit Rock City, Shout It Out Loud, Lick it Up, God of Thunder and Rock And Roll All Night and nearly blowing the roof off of the newly built Abbotsford Sports Center.

The sing-a-long party atmosphere was great as you knew 90% of the people there were KISS diehards knowing every word or verse to each song. Paul stated that night "Abbotsford is the rock city, Abbotsford Rock City!!" and how true that was for me and the others to be part of Kisstory.
