This band, a polish technical death metal one has returned with a vengeance after their tragedy in 2007. Two years of pain, fighting the demons of the past and doubts whether he should play again without Vitek and Covan, Vogg decided to start over and continue the legacy of the band in honour of his brother's life and to rekindle the passion and energy they once shared.

Their newest CD “Carnival is Forever” will be released in the USA on July 12 and in Europe on July 15. The album is being released this summer via the band's new label Nuclear Blast. Sit back and prepare yourself for their 5th album which seems to me to be their heaviest and darkest to date.

The 8 tracks (42:45 minutes) was produced by Wacek Kieltyka, and sound engineer was Malta Arkadiusz Malczewski. The drums and mixing were done by Daniel Bergstrand (Behemoth, Meshuggah, Dimmu Borgir, Keep of Kalessin and others). This incredible piece was recorded at Radio Gdansk studio in Poland from February 2011 to March 31. The cover artwork was done by Lukasz Jaszak, and all the lyrics were written by Jaroslaw Szubrycht.

DECAPITATED now consists of some many talented musicians as Waclaw “Vogg” Kieltyka on guitar, Kerim Krimh Lechner on drums (Thorns of Ivy, Tone Intimacy), Rafal Piotrowski on vocals (Ketha, Forgotten Souls), and bassist Flip “Heinrich” Halucha (Vesania, Rootwater, Unsun, Masachist). The band originally formed in Krosno Poland in the year 1996.

And now with some absence from the scene, they have returned to say they are back, they are one that always makes a name for themselves in the brutal death metal genre. Their trademark is thrash with their fast tempo and aggression. And lets not forget their technical death riffs, you wont forget after listening to them. There are a few amazing solos as well put into this selection . The vocals of course fit right into this with their fierce raw growls. There are no songs on this CD that can be called filler songs, each of these 8 tracks stand on their own worthiness.

DECAPITATED has been resurrected. They have also shown no matter what happens, they are living their dreams.
