Stockholm is known for its beauty, its buildings and architecture, it’s abundant clean and open water, and its many parks. It is sometimes referred to as the Venice of the North, and yet in 2007 what arose from the depths of the underground is an old style dirty rotten unspoiled Swedish death metal band called BLOOD MORTIZED.

Band members that contributed to the album are Gustav and Anders along with
Brynjar Helgetun on drums, and of course on vocals is Mattias. This is a very impressive album, one that I highly recommend.

I had the distinct pleasure of reviewing this album, and if its that classic brutal, extreme, death metal sound you want, this is it. This is actually the first of their music that I have listened to, and they have definitely caught my attention. There is nothing better than sitting down to review a band that’s a first and find that they crush and are uncompromising, leaving you with 12 tracks of talent and skill in the death metal camp. This band creates some savage riffs, some drum blasts that are merciless , and of course the vocals are harsh and true death metal style, making this album an excellent choice for you to have in your collection. I especially liked the fact that it wasn’t all crammed together, fast and furious with no thought, this album “The Demon, The Angel, The Disease” was well thought out and planned with precise thought as to what they wanted to put on this CD. Don’t miss out on your chance to acquire this phenomenal album. This is definitely a headbanging, horns high, crushing death metal album done right.
